TJ and Diana are engaged

This time last year Diana had contacted me to photograph her wedding this upcoming October out in Albany, NY. We wanted to wait until the weather was perfect for their engagement session and I must say we had a beautiful overcast that any photographer would swoon over.

Jordan and Jolene are Engaged

I met with Jordan and Jolene at their beautiful country home a little over a month ago for their engagement session. I loved how the red barn just popped out from the snow. Their dogs joined the session and were quite excited to be in front of the camera. The wedding is taking place this July in their backyard which just so happened to be the back yard that Jolene grew up on. ( I'm in love with this idea) I cannot wait for July<3

Erik & Megan are Engaged

A few weeks ago I met up with Erik and Megan at their home out near Norwitch, NY. We drove around their land in their Kuboto. I had never heard of a Kuboto until this session, but I am convinced that if I had my own land it would be one of my first purchases. The best thing about it was that it was heated since we are approaching late fall. We did half their session on their land and did the other half in Downtown. I was really happy because I got to capture a type of image that I have wanted to do forever which is the giant pillar. I really love architecture and the fact that there was none around was even better! I cannot wait until their wedding next September.

Tim & Lindsey are engaged

Lindsay first contacted me to do her engagement photos back when it was still snowing. We kept in contact and we finally met up and her and her fiance's house in the beautiful Village of McGraw. The dog came too and we drove around in a UTV scoping out spots. I naturally loving all things that are romantic and dreamy headed right for the open wildflower field. I fell in love with that field, if you keep scrolling you'll see why!

Judd and Allyson Engagement

Last week I met up with Judd and Allyson out in Virgil N.Y for their engagement session, it was also the first time I met the groom. I really love engagement sessions and encourage all of my couples to do them because it lets them get comfortable around the camera before their big day. It was a beautiful Sunday with the sun shining and not a dark cloud in the sky, but once I started driving to the location everything quickly changed. I'm just extremely glad it wasn't raining even though I do have a pinterest inspired rain jacket for my camera. We did a few shots at Hope Lake Park and then drove over to their farm and home where we found some amazing hay barrels and the peaceful hammock as well as a creek and tractor.I really love country inspired shoots, it must be the upstate new yorker that's in me. I cant wait to photograph their wedding this June!
